The beach access was fantastic, but the dining options were rather bland.

it was veery relaxing , staff were very helpfull , food was enjoyable , great location , went home happy to have stayed there.
I would have liked a different menu with a colder than i would normaly prefer a slighty wider choice to choose from , the staff were very friendly & the restaurant was well run but i would prefer the food was a touch hotter.

Th setting, overlooking the sea, is wonderful.
The dinner was not as good as expected, but still it was good. Breakfast was excellent.

Splendid view, isolated and very quiet location. Nice buffet breakfast with special attention for food allergies; small pool but very well kept; nice walking path to the beach.
Airco in the fitness room did not work; hasty service in the restaurant at dinner time (no room for an intimate dinner)

Stunning location and very clean, comfortable rooms. The restaurant was decent, though not a stand out by any means. We thought the interior public areas were modern and cool (others had been critical of the interiors on reviews I read, but we had no complaints).
No complaints - we had a great time.

It was a little disappointing that the swimming pool was not available in November

A very well appointed hotel with an amazing location perched on cliffs and with views of the sea on three sides. Staff were very helpful in enabling us change room to one with shade in the evening.
Nowhere else to eat or have a drink in the evenings except in the Parador and its beach retaurant. Got fed up with an unchanging menu. It was worth getting a taxi to Begur for a change of scenery and dinner. The Parador would therefore be better for a short break, rather than a longer holiday.

Beautiful location. Nice public spaces.
Beds were very uncomfortable. No air-conditioning when we were there. Only way to cool room off was to open the door, which was problematic at night since bats could fly into room when dark. Breakfast buffet was not good. Plenty of food but not of high quality or interest.

Exactly what I think, no more, no less
The amazing views steal the show. The rooms are decent but could use some updates. Service was a mixed bag, with several staff being really good while others were less attentive. Wonderful local dishes, yet the dining options felt repetitive. Still, a fantastic escape overall!

Excellent location in area of outstanding natural beauty. Stunning sea views from rooms and dining areas. Near to lovely villages and beautiful beaches and coves such as Begur, Tamariu and Llfranc. A visit to the San Sebastia lighthouse is a must. Really good area for walking with well marked trails. Excellent roads. You can drive to Gerona in 45 mins. Excellent breakfast. Good service.
The dinner menu was over-priced and the food quality was indifferent. The bar menu was better but again was over-priced for what you got. Drinks were expensive despite being so cheap in supermarkets. This would not be a problem in the main tourist season as there are plenty of restaurants and bars locally. Staff were good but a little reserved generally.

Truly enjoyed my stay in Fornells, and would recomand it. I have had a real good experience, this comfortable modern, neat hotel deserves more than 4 stars. Its staff was efficient and helpful. The location was quiet and perfect - easy walk to everywhere I wanted to go.

Couples getaway with a view
The view is lovely! We had a standard double room where sunsets painted the sky, it was amazing. The outside bar had some damn good cocktails, I tell ya! We also enjoyed walking down to the beach to soak up sun where you can lie on the beach, just like that.
It wasn't cheap, but the experience felt acceptable for what we got.

The location is absolute amazing - we came to Spain from Australia, and landed, got a hire car and drive straight to the Parador. It was spectacualr coming over the hilll to the sparkling Med - it was our first stop in Spain for our month long honeymoon and the parador here and in Granada were absolute standouts. Worth the money and the breakfasts were fantastic!
Some of the dinner food was a bit repetitive in flavour, and the rooms were pretty basic in terms of decor - the pillows were pretty hard.
